A GENERALIZATION OF DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS. (1998)

Abstract
Recent group theory techniques for the purpose of reducing the number of independent variables in systems of partial differential equations subject to boundary and/or initial conditions are applied to dimensional analysis. Specifically, it is shown that a generalization of conventional dimensional methods can be effected via the techniques. (Author).
