| Investigation on Molybdenum and Titanium Disilicide As Structural Materials for Highest Temperatures. (1998) | |||||||||
Abstract | |||||||||
| High temperature hardness and bond strength of pure and single phase disilicides are greater than those of metallic Ni base alloys; ductile transition occurs at 90 C; mechanical properties are improved by adding a second phase alloy like an oxide, nitride, or carbide which increases grain boundary strength. | |||||||||
