| The laser-MIG hybrid welding process is explained regarding the mechanism and the fundamental rules of application. The resulting technological and economical advantages are illustrated. Welding results on aluminum and steel materials are discussed. The practical benefit of this technique is demonstrated by an industrial manufacturing system for oil tanks. | |||||||||||
