| WO 2006094488 A1 UPAB: 20061121 NOVELTY - A method for setting out the phase limits/boundaries of a workpiece requires, during processing, a processing zone (13) comprising an incidence hit location of the processing beam (1) on the workpiece (12) with additional illumination at least coaxially to the processing beam with optical radiation (2), radiation reflected from the processing zone (13) is detected parallel to the direction of incidence of the optical radiation (2). The course of one or several phase boundaries is automatically determined with an image processing algorithm. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) A device for processing a workpiece; (2) A processing head. USE - For laser beam processing of workpiece.
