The lived experience of gay men caring for others with HIV/AIDS : living, loving and dying in the era of HIV/AIDS (2002)

Abstract
Submitted to the School of Health Sciences of the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, Deakin University. Bibliography: leaves 286-307. Through Hermeneutic-phenomenology the day-to-day lives of gay men caring for their partners with HIV/AIDS were brought alive. The detailed caring each of these men undertook was analysed through two in-depth interviews. This original Australian study examined these men's lives in great depth, giving health care professionals insights into the gay men's daily struggles with life and death.
