Abstract

DE 102007002904 A1 UPAB: 20080731 NOVELTY - The production process for vacuumed hollow glass balls involves putting a material containing powdered glass in a furnace, blowing reaction and/or carrier gas into the furnace, melting the material in the furnace and forming the hollow balls, which are then inflated and fixed by cooling, binding and/or condensing the glass. USE - For vacuumed hollow glass balls. ADVANTAGE - Cheaper; produces balls with better insulation properties.
