| WO 2008145402 A2 UPAB: 20081217 NOVELTY - Surrounded on all sides by a thermal insulation element (2), except in edge areas, channels (3) act as ventilation channels and extend in individual areas of the thermal insulation element to one of the element's edges so that links (4) between the channels and an external wall (1) are created at desired points when the element is fitted to the external wall.
